Karen Holmes, whose spiritual name is Suzeranda Melchizedek, is a channel whose gift from God, the Creator of us all, is to be able to communication with anyone "on the other side."

In 2007, Holmes was sitting in her office--an old warehouse used as a storage unit--when she was approached by an entity who said his name is the Chaplain, and that he had been killed in Iraq. He asked if she would be willing to channel the stories of U.S. soldiers who had also been killed. Each night, one would come and at the end, they would be put into a book, called "A Patch of Heaven."

This book would be the first of many, stories like "Chicken Soup for the Soul." This would enable the soldiers to reassure their family that they are doing fine, and not to worry about them.

The Chaplain was the first, and he talked about what it was like to die, and what he discovered once he left his body behind.

Each night, another soldier came....
